On the morning of February 24, 2026, the People’s Committee of Nguyet Duc commune held the opening ceremony of the Sports Tournament celebrating the Party and the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, commemorating the successful conclusion of the 14th National Congress of the Party, and looking forward to the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the election day for National Assembly and People’s Council representatives at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
This year’s tournament attracted 26 participating units, including villages in the commune and the People’s Committee of the commune, competing in 3 sports: tug-of-war, chess, and pickleball (men’s doubles and women’s doubles). The Sports Tournament celebrating the Party and the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 in Nguyet Duc commune contributes to promoting mass sports movements, strengthening exchanges, and creating a vibrant and united atmosphere of competition among the people.
